False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are provided at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-year duration.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites
These courses start off at NCV level 2 and also the minimum amount necessity would then be Grade nine certificate with a pass in click here Mathematics.
Once the student finishes NCVLevel two, they'd then have attained a grade 10 certification. NCV Level three would be grade 11 and NCV Level 4 is grade twelve.
NCV Level 4 is at the exit level, being comparable to a National Senior Certificate (NSC).
Grade 9 is on NQF level one. Our NCV programmes start NCV level two which is equivalent to an NQF level 2.
On which kind of students are suited to these programmes, they say that the world is acknowledging that traditional schooling is not really always the one way of starting to be an artisan or turning into experienced therefore if a student knows from an early age what their interests are, the NCV programme is really properly fitted to that student.
False Bay TVET College will assist the student to become qualified in his field of interest. Students who want to become entrepreneurs will also have access to their Centre of Entrepreneurship on the Westlake Campus.
